Envisioned by the AZ team through their travels, experiences and thirst for discovery and adventure, the first La Gemma project was launched in Florence in May 2023.

Inside the 5* hotel is LUCA'S, a restaurant, rooftop lounge, and mixology bar whose goal is to take guests on a culinary journey into convivial, upscale cuisine, revised from an international perspective.

The responsibilities and services that AZ Group includes are:

  • Analysis of interventions and project/procedural conditions, as well as their economic/financial and capital feasibility.

  • Organization and coordination of activities aimed at defining the feasibility conditions of development proposals, in urban, design, plan and volume, commercial, market and economic/financial matters.

  • Verification, with the relevant public offices, of the procedures and design methods necessary to carry out the feasibility study of the initiative.

  • Urban planning promotion up to the approval of the general planning instrument, coordinating where necessary any external professionals involved.

  • Coordination of activities necessary to implement the general design choices, draft the executive design tools and apply for building concessions and authorizations.

  • Participation in initiatives, in compliance with the provisions and laws in force, deemed necessary or appropriate to achieve the objectives of enhancement and/or better use/protection of the heritage.

  • Identification and verification of redevelopment conditions and strategies.

We take care of construction and commissioning by studying the feasibility of spaces and works, providing construction, architectural and decorative support until project completion.

AZ Group thanks to its extensive real estate experience and market knowledge enhances the real estate assets of its client and investors, managing all activities necessary for their enhancement and transformation, and taking care of all phases from the feasibility study to the drafting of concept & design master plans from planning to implementation.

We provide our structure and training for what hospitality is all about: managing reception processes, go-to-market and marketing in all markets and with all the best tailor-made strategies.

In this scenario, the hotelier/owner makes a profit without having an integral role in the management and operations of the hotel.

The responsibilities and services that AZ Group includes are:

  • Staff recruitment, payroll management, HR systems and processes.

  • Budget development and management, financial analysis and reporting.

  •  Supervision of all operational activities, including front of house, building maintenance, housekeeping, catering, f&b, events, and any gym or spa facilities.

  • Management of contractual relationships and payments with vendors and suppliers.

  • Maintenance on an annual basis of the property to keep the hotel up to international standards.

  • Revenue maximization activities by adjusting luxury rates by following the flow of seasonal and holiday changes.

  • Social media marketing and management of on and offline advertising campaigns, including customer care.
